Check out these websites with your kids.  You never know what you might learn!!

 

  • Ask Jeeves for Kids is an easy search engine for kids to use.  It also has some friendly features, like spelling help when you enter a word.   http://ajkids.com/

  • The Electronic Zoo.  If it has to do with animals, pets, or vets on the ‘net, you can find it here.  Created by a veterinary doctor, this site will provide links to information on that specific animal, as well as booklists (bibliographies).  http://netvet.wustl.edu/e-zoo.htm
  • CYBER-SEUSS  This site leads us to Dr. Seuss stories and delves into the author’s life and early writing, too.  http://www.afn.org/~afn15301/drseuss.html
  •  "Wacky Web Tales"  This site is for Grades 3 and above is useful for parts of speech up through 7th to 8th grade.  Students can review parts of speech by filling in pre-made "Mad Libs" and making up funny stories.    http://www.eduplace.com/tales/
