Today we reviewed the homework to remove confusion about the future tense, then we went to the library to work on the projects.

Today we reviewed the homework to clear up any confusion about the formation of the near future tense.  We presented most of the dialogues, then went to the library to finish our projects.

Today we worked more with verbs that change meaning in the preterite, then went to the library to work on our projects.
