    Today we reviewed the homework, then practiced with the subjunctive and impersonal expressions.  We reviewed the questions about the movie, then watched more of the movie.

    Today we reviewed the homework, then learned about using the subjunctive with impersonal expressions (see attachment and links).  We practiced the speaking part of the final exam, then we watched more of the movie.

    This site further explains the use of the subjunctive with impersonal expressions. 1. If no specific subject, use the infinitive: Es necesario comer muchas verduras. 2. If there is a specific subject with expressions that are not expressions of certainty, use subjunctive: Es bueno que to llegues a tiempo. 3. If there is a specific subject after an imperson expression that is of certainty, use the indicative: Es evidente que tú eres muy inteligente.
