Tier 1 represents the core instructional program. 80-90% of the students will respond and achieve
benchmark goals within this instructional framework.
Tier 2 is a more focused, targeted small group instruction based upon our students' needs as determined by our universal screening tools. This is provided in addition to the core instruction in the classroom. 5-10% of the students may receive instruction at this level.
Tier 3 is an intensive intervention for students who do not respond adequately to the targeted interventions in Tier 2. Request for Referral to the Instructional Support Team may occur to further monitor a student's progress. 1-5% of students may receive instruction at this level.
