- Newsletter sent home each week and it is posted on my website weekly
- Homework Folder and a Weekly Assignment Sheet for recording daily assignments and taking papers home
- Notes, phone calls, emails (lucal@nwlehighsd.org)

*our classroom also has classroom motivation reward...once the
collectively earn all of the pieces on "Mr. Potato Head" they vote
on a classroom reward

GRADING
*assessments will be announced at least three days in advance
*all grades will be sent home within a week of the students completing the assessment
*if students earn a grade below 70%, they will receive reteaching in the classroom and will be given a retest (the new score will be an average of both tests)
*grades will be O (93-100), S+ (86-92), S (85-76), S- (70-75) and N (69-0)
*all subjects will receive a letter grade except for science and social studies
*science and social studies will be graded as pass or fail
