Letter to Parents

  • Dear Parents,

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself as your child’s Geometry teacher. My name is Mr. Bob Biese and I am in my tenth year teaching at Northwestern Lehigh for the 2016-17 school year, having completed my teacher certification program through Kutztown University. I am a native of Berks County, Pennsylvania, and I originally graduated from Villanova University.

The school will be having a Parent/Teacher Open House on Thursday September 8th, 2016, from 6pm to 8pm. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and providing you with the opportunity to review the online textbook we will be using during the school year as well as get a chance to see the classroom environment I have created to facilitate your child’s learning of Mathematics. I also highly encourage all parents of the students become familiar with the class google calendar, so that you may be aware of all class activities.

Each student has been presented with an electronic syllabus in their class google folder that outlines the course throughout the entire semester and there will be weekly updates on my teacher website at www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/rbiese as well as on our google group.

I invite and challenge each and every one of my students’ parents to continue to be an active facilitator in their child’s developmental years. If you should have any questions or if any concerns arise, please feel free to contact by e-mail at bieser@nwlehighsd.org or at the school at (610) 298-8661. The best way to contact me is via e-mail. I will be glad to offer my assistance and discuss any concerns with you.

I anticipate an exciting year working with your child. I am also looking forward to meeting you and cultivating a working relationship to assist your child in their education.

    Sincerely,
    Mr. Biese
