The AP Exams
-
The AP Calculus AB and BC exams are administered every year the first Wednesday in May. Students are given an opportunity in advance to sign up for the test and prepare themselves for the exam. A "passing" score on the exam makes the student eligible for college credit. Preparedness and strategy for the exam shall be discussed throughout the course and students should familiarize themselves with the format of the exam prior to May. Starting in the 2010-2011 school year the format for the AP Calculus AB and BC exams is as follow:

NOTE: Students taking the AP Calculus BC exam will receive TWO scores for this exam. They will receive a "AB-Subscore" which counts the same at the AP Calculus AB (Calc1) exam AND a BC score (Calc 2). That's like completing TWO college courses with just ONE test!!
