Bluetooth Controls
-
This project is the start of being able to control the bot wirelessly using a Bluetooth module. This project configures the bluetooth module and lights the attached LEDs based on the pressing of the WASD keys such as you would find in controlling many video games. The next step will be connecting the bluetooth module to the bot itself and instead of lighting up LEDs it will run the servos to direct the bot.
The next stage was to make a larger robot to do some of the similar functions. This bot uses a motor shield to control DC motors and the same bluetooth module and controls. The first video shows the bot under bluetooth keyboard commands again. The second video demonstrates the "roam" feature of the bot that avoids objects using the PING))) sensor.
