Robotic Arm
-
Information about the Robotic ArmThis first video is still using the remote control that came with the arm just to give you an idea of the types of motion it can do. It has 5 degrees of freedom (base (turn) ,shoulder, elbow, wrist, jaws) that are controlled by a supplied remote. Our hope is to "hack" the arm and control it by other means. Plans include controlling it through bluetooth or wireless motion or using inverse kinematics to have a computer program make the decisions that our brains do every time we pick something up.
