Positive Behavior Plan

Northwestern Elementary has implemented a School-Wide Positive Behavior Plan.  This plan promotes a safe and productive school through proven scientifically based research.  It increases the likelihood of academic success by focusing on positive student behaviors.

There are 5 Tiger Rules that students are expected to follow in all aspects of their school day (classroom, hallways, bus rides, cafeteria, etc.)
    1.  Follow directions when given
    2.  Keep hands, feet, body, and objects to self
    3.  Be polite and use respectful language
    4.  Be responsible and safe
    5.  Do my BEST WORK

Students have the opportunity to earn "tiger paws" throughout each school day by following school-wide expectations.  Students can trade in their "tiger paws" for prizes such as pencils, T-shirts, folders, Teacher Autograph pages, or the Principal's chair for a day!
