Course Description & Content

  • This course provides students with  an introduction to the systematic and scientific study of behavior and mental processes. This course is designed to stimulate students to think critically about human behavior, and, at the same time, encourage them to make discoveries about their own lives and behavior. Topics covered include: Modern Approaches to Psychology; Research Methods in Psychology; Memory; Intelligence; Learning; Stress; Theories of Development; Consciousness; Personality; and Psychological Disorders.
