www.bigideasmath.com is the website for our textbooks. This website allows you to access the textbook, the record and practice journal, as well as activities and resources. Each student was assigned a username and password, but parents can access it as well, without any username or password.

Study Island
www.studyisland.com is a website provided by our school district to offer additional lessons and practice problems in language arts, math and science to help prepare our students for the PSSA and Algebra Keystone Exam. Each student was issued a username and password.

InterAct Math
www.interactmath.com is a very useful mathematics website. This website provides practice problems with explanations. It is a great resource to help students study for quizzes, tests, and final exams. There are numerous math textbooks of various math subjects from which to select. Once a textbook is selected, you can choose a chapter and then a specific topic within that chapter. Once a topic is selected it will provide practice problems with instant feedback. The student may choose to see the entire solution worked out or he or she can choose to see the solution one step at a time.

IXL
www.ixl.com is a math website that allows you to choose the appropriate grade level or algebra. Once you select the grade level, you can choose from the list of topics and begin to complete practice problems. I believe you can practice a lesson a week for free. If you wish to practice more than one complete lesson a week, you need to pay and subscribe to the website.
