Student's Charging Meals
The Food Service Department extends to all Northwestern Lehigh School Students the privilege of charging meals in the Cafeteria. Students are not denied meals.
Students with delinquent account balances will receive a negative balance letter highlighting the amount of the delinquency. As long as a student is carrying a negative balance, the student will not be permitted to charge extras or a la carte items. This includes water, snacks, ice cream, etc. Students may pay cash for any a la carte items.
Under the discretion of the Assistant Superintendent and/or Business Office, any or all of the following actions may occur if negative balances are not paid:
- Creation of a Payment Plan
- Certified Letter w/ return receipt
- Phone calls from district offices
- Submit for collections through Magistrate Office
