Mrs. Johnson earned her master's degree in Library Science from Kutztown University and currently enjoys reading books, tinkering, gaming, watching her shows on Netflix and playing with her rabbit, Lord Chesterfield. Her favorite books to read are dystopian, survival and graphic novels.

Mrs. Bachman's favorite hobbies include gardening, swimming and cooking. She also spends lots of time with her grandchildren making crafts and playing outdoors. Mrs. Bachman also LOVES hanging out with her dog, "Bentley", a big, soft and cuddly Old English Sheepdog. Her favorite types of books are historical and realistic fiction.

     The Dime Drive     

    Goal: To raise money for books that will be donated to schools that have been affected by the natural disasters happening in our country.

    • Each Language Arts team will have a bottle in their classroom with their team logo on it.
    • Whenever you have any dimes, stick them in the bottle!
    • One 2 liter bottle filled with dimes can hold anywhere between $500 and $700!
    • The team with the most dimes by the end of the Book Fair (October 20th) will win a prize!

    NWLMS LEGO Wall

    Thanks to the NWLMS PTO the library has been able construct a ginormous LEGO wall that allows students to create, construct and collaborate in a very unique way. Stop by to check it out!

     

    iPad Search Stations

    Due to the generous support of the Northwestern Educational Foundation the library was able to purchase iPad Search Stations. These search stations have replaced many of the older computers in the library and will allow students to utilize the online library catalog and databases.
